We have placed our boutique under the aegis of Saint Clare of Assisi.
San Damiano was the privileged witness of many miracles performed by Saint Clare. We cannot perform miracles at our humble station, but we hope to surprise every visitor with the objects that are on show.
If you are seeking to add warmth and a sense of homeliness to your home or are looking for a charming gift for your loved ones, our boutique has everything you might need. You will find antique objects restored by us (decorative candlesticks, mirrors, photo frames) as well as porcelain and crystal treasures.
San Damiano is the place where Saint Francis received the call of the Crucifix: "Go and rebuild my church which is falling into ruin".
In our shop, therefore, the emphasis is on sacred objects and in particular crucifixes. While browsing through flea markets, we were saddened to realise that sacred objects were no longer appreciated at their true value. To save them from oblivion and to bring them up to date made sense to us. We do this to help you let the sacred into your lives and your homes.
